Champions Cup Quarter-Finals: Who Faces Who

The stage is set for the Champions Cup quarter-finals, with four high-stakes clashes scheduled between 10–12 April. After a record seven English clubs reached the knockout stage, only three remain alongside three French teams, plus one each from Scotland and Ireland.

Quarter-Final Matchups

  • Friday, 10 April – Bath vs Northampton Saints (20:00 BST)
Premiership rivals face off, with Northampton already confirmed as one of the first teams through.
  • Saturday, 11 April – Glasgow Warriors vs Toulon (15:00 BST)
Scotland’s Glasgow takes on French side Toulon in what promises to be a tense encounter.
  • Saturday, 11 April – Leinster vs Sale Sharks (17:30 BST)
Ireland’s Leinster meet English club Sale Sharks, the only away winners from the first knockout round.
  • Sunday, 12 April – Bordeaux Begles vs Toulouse (15:00 BST)
Defending champions Bordeaux host six-time winners Toulouse in an all-French showdown.

Looking Ahead

The semi-finals are set for the first weekend of May, with the final scheduled in Bilbao on Saturday, 23 May.

Notably, only Glasgow, Leinster, and Bordeaux have won all five of their matches so far this season. French clubs have dominated the competition in recent years, winning the last five editions, with Exeter Chiefs in 2020 the most recent non-French victors.

This season promises a thrilling conclusion as the remaining eight teams battle for a spot in the semi-finals.
